What’s in the New University Archives? Marc Davis

Crunch Time Seating Marc Davis

Thanks to Sean Kehoe, University Events Manager, we’ve added 16 tables and 64 seats to the quiet study area of the Reading Room and Reading Room atrium for the end of semester crunch.  

Noise Alert Cancelled! Marc Davis

  The previously announced maintenance work scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 23 has been cancelled.  There will no disruption to quiet study areas.

Construction Continues at Cowles Marc Davis

Construction of the new University Archives and Special Collections area continues at Cowles during the month of September. Users should expect occasional noise on the 2nd floor between 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. on weekdays.

After-Hours Access Made Easier! Marc Davis

After-Hours begins September 3. Procedures for obtaining an access card have been simplified. Students no longer need to fill out a registration form on the library website. Open Access policy passed by Drake Faculty Senate Bruce Gilbert

The Faculty Senate of Drake University  endorsed an Open Access Policy at its regular meeting on 17 April 2013 (the amended text follows).  It is one of the first such campus-wide Open Access academic policies to be adopted in Iowa.
