Search for Missing Items

If a book or audio-visual item is not on the shelf:

  • Check the item’s record in the catalog to make sure it is not checked out.
  • Go to theĀ All ServicesĀ Desk on the First Floor to ask a staff member or student worker for assistance.
  • We will double check the shelf for the item, using several common search strategies. If the item is not located, you will be asked to fill out a search card about the missing item.
  • In-depth searches for the item will be then be conducted by staff, and you will be notified of the results.
