RefWorks is a bibliographic citation manager. It is designed to help researchers  gather, manage, store and share all types of information, as well as generate citations and bibliographies. You must use your Drake email address to register for a RefWorks account. Then choose a username and password. You will have perpetual access to RefWorks even after you leave Drake.

APA Style Blog

The APA Style Blog is the official companion to the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association, Sixth Edition. It’s run by a group of experts who work with APA Style every day. It publishes weekly posts about writing, publishing, and APA Style.

AMA Manual of Style

In addition to the basics of grammar and citation, the American Medical Association Manual of Style leads writers through the maze of abbreviation, nomenclature, and quantitation. 10th Edition.

NLM Style Guide (National Library of Medicine)

Electronic access to the 2nd edition of Citing Medicine is available from the National Library of Medicine. Additionally, Washington State University Libraries offer a quick reference guide.

EndNote Web

EndNote Web is a bibliographic citation manager. It allows you to collect and organize references as well as format citations and footnotes or create a bibliography. To start an account and for subsequent use go to this websiteCowles Library supports the use of RefWorks bibliographic citation manager over EndNote WebRefworks is more robust than the free EndNote Web version or the purchasable EndNote Desktop version.
