Construction Continues at Cowles

Construction of the new University Archives and Special Collections area continues at Cowles during the month of September. Users should expect occasional noise on the 2nd floor between 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. on weekdays.

After-Hours Access Made Easier!

After-Hours begins September 3. Procedures for obtaining an access card have been simplified. Students no longer need to fill out a registration form on the library website. Instead:

If you are a first-year student entering Drake in the fall of 2013 or later, your Drake ID will allow you to access the After Hours Study area.

If you are a returning student who obtained an access card last year, your card will be automatically reactivated to allow access.

If you are a returning student who has never requested an access card for the After Hours Study area, just present your Drake ID at the University Facilities Key Shop in order to get an access card.
